Good Morning Mon Valley!  What a day this is….Did you go outside and think..I could use a sweater! What a wonderfully, cool morning!  Today we have Coconut Cream Pie.  Delightfully smooth and creamy, our coconut cream pie is the ticket for today.  Keystone’s Coconut Cream Pie blends just the right amount of sweetness with delicious meringue and toasted coconut.  Have you ever had a coconut cream pie that was sooooo sweet, you felt like your teeth were melting?  Not here!  Ours is just enough to satisify your sweet tooth, but we do not go over the edge!

Tuesday is National Cherry Dessert  Day!  Stop in for our Cherry Cordial Chiffon Cake or Cherry topped donuts!  Enjoy soemthing tart and sweet!

There are many weekend opportunities in our area this weekend.  Corn is in at Triple B Farms!  So early, but what a wonderful treat!  Raspberries are ripe!  Head out early and pick a bucket full!  The Pirates are home this weekend playing the Detroit Tigers.  Catch a game and root, root, root for the home team!  I LOVE BASEBALL!

Tomorrow, Keystone is bringing back a dessert from the past!  Strawberry-Banana Whip Cream Pie!  Stop in a get one!  You know you want one!

German Chocolate Cake - Friday and Saturday!

Friday is here!  And what a glorious Mon Valley day it is!  The weather is beautiful, not too humid….that comes in on Saturday!  This Father’s Day weekend be sure to treat your father or anyone who has had a significant influence on your life extra special.  We need to acknowledge the special people while they are here with us!  Too often we put off what should be said today, to say another day and sometimes, that day never comes.

We have all kinds of goodies to make your Father’s Day meal or celebration special. We will have German Chocolate Cake this weekend!  Something special and truly delicious.  We have decorated father’s day cakes and mini cakes along with many delicious varieties of cookies.  Stop in and pick Pop’s favorite!

French Cream Napoleons!!!

We have French Cream Napoleons today!  These are just so wonderful.  Puff pastry stacked high with a beautiful french cream between the layers!  You will float away with every bite! Who needs Paris?  Get Parisian treats here with no French Attitude!

Happy Wednesday Pittsburgh!  Wednesday is savory day here in the bakery.  We have Take and Bake Pizza’s, Pizza Shells to make your own pizza and Pepperoni Rolls, fresh and hot, right out of the oven.  Make it an easy “hump” day, pair our Take and Bake Pizzas with a salad, an ice cold beer and voila!  You have a dinner that will not heat up the kitchen.  Bake our Pizza’s for about 15 minutes on 425 and it will be ready to eat!  Speaking of ice cold beers, try a local brew, Rooneys Irish Ale!  http://www.rooneysbeer.com/rooneys-old-irish-ale  It’s a pretty good, stout beer and definitely not one of those “sissy” beers that taste like water!

This week is filled with Graduation Parties and Father’s Day on Sunday!  Don’t forget Dad! We have store decorated Father’s Day Cakes and on Friday and Saturday this week we will have German Chocolate Cake!  We don’t do German Chocolate very often, so call ahead and reserve one!  You can also special order a cake.  We have several designs to choose or you can even use a photo of your Dad.

Does Dad prefer Pie?  We will have Apple, Blackberry and Cherry on Friday and Saturday!  How about Blackberry? What else yells summer except a piece of Blackberry Pie with a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!
