It is a beautiful day in the Mon Valley! Sunny and 60 degrees make for a wonderful March day. With Springtime and Easter approaching, the bakery is coming to life! St. Patrick’s Day cookies, cupcakes and “leapin” frogs are decorating the bakery.

Easter items are starting to appear – delicious Bunny Sugar Cookies. They are so simple, yet so delicate, sweet and pure. The perfect companion to a nice cup of tea.

 I love all of the beautiful colors of Spring and of course all of the wonderful aromas! Working in a bakery is absolutely the best! Everyday is filled with the smell of fresh baked bread, cookies and cakes warm out of the oven, and I even like “sauerkraut” days, when our Pierogies are being made!

Today, we have apple walnut bars, poppyseed rolls, banana cake rolls, peanut butter gob cookies, pizza’s and of course pierogies.
